
The three branches of government make up the constitution and help out the people in it. With these three branches the representative, senates, vice president, and last but most important the president help provide for the citizens in their state and country.

The legislative branch is made up of people that make the laws for the government. Article I of the constitution gives the power to make laws to the legislative branch. The house of representatives is for the population. The senate is in charge of passing the bills and the Federal Court System. The representative of the legislative branch is John Carney he was first elected Lieutenant Governor of Delaware in 2000 and served from January 16, 2001 until January 20, 2009.

The Executive Branch is vested in the President of the United States. The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet. The Vice President is also part of the Executive Branch, ready to assume the Presidency should the need arise. The Cabinet is responsible for the day-to-day enforcement and administration of the federal laws. The President of the United states is Barack Obama and the Vice President is Joe Biden.
